1.根据自己的生物钟安排课表。

早上起不来的千万别选八点的课了，也许你会觉得自己毅力够强，但是到了期中期末需要熬夜甚至通宵复习的时候你会发现这真不是个明智的选择。

4.课程

写作课：

a) 不要抱着“我要锻炼自己，锻炼英语”的想法选择阅读量巨大的文科课（对于绝大多数中国人，大量阅读英文文献你真的做不来，想起那些一个学期阅读量上千页的日子，真的如地狱一般）。你以为你的写作水平会在以后大幅提高，你错了。

b)你以为你大一刚开始不适应，会很忙，以后会慢慢习惯，你错了，大部分专业你只会更忙…

专业课：

a)一些基础课必须在一定时间内上到，因为是Prerequisite

b)如果专业课并不是每个学期都开设，请注意跟上Department的推荐课程计划，以免延迟毕业

水课：

先说结论，为了GPA，水课还是要选的。但是，水课虽好，可不要贪多。大一的话可以一学期一门/一门半左右。所谓水课就是课程非常无聊，作业不少，考试简单好拿A的课。其实很多时候水课并没有那么水，只是对你的专业课没有什么促进作用，但能让你接触到一些比较冷门的知识。而且好歹有学分，不拿白不拿嘛。

注意有些课不是每学期都有的，合理安排好自己的课表。

2.选课量要合理

刚进大一的时候，不要什么课都选，比如明明学的ee，却跑去学了机械原理，到了drop的日期也不drop，结果坚持了一个学期在final周终于累垮了，有两门最后没有考好。其实少选一门课那个学期能轻松一点了，要学会合理安排选课。

5.同学

不要轻易一窝蜂和周围同学一起上课，不要轻易抱大腿，不要轻易被抱大腿。虽然可以肯定的说，和朋友上课可以一起写作业，复习，帮助不少，但一牵扯到“大腿”还请三思，说直白一点，Academic Integrity很重要。

尽量多和同学交流，觉得谈得来，靠谱的话可以一起学习。

3.教授

每门课都会有几个教授供学生选择，每个教授的授课方式，课件，评分标准甚至考卷都可能不相同，找到最合适的教授非常重要。

学校应该会有教评系统，但对课程、教授难以有一个客观的介绍（花费时间，教授推荐度etc）。虽然有Ratemyprofessor可以参考，但留学生对Ratemyprofessor的信息还是要客观对待，因为同一个教授不同学生会有相差很多的看法，甚至我觉得不少评论是“水军”刷出来的，比如：

a)有教授一学期全好评，一学期全差评；

b)有教授课上直接要求学生为其在Ratemyprofessor上好评。

但几乎完全是差评的课，如果不是这学期非上不可就不要去选了。碰上一个特别差劲的老师真是会毁了一学期学习时候的心情。如果对那个课的内容特别感兴趣的话，看看在之后的学期里会不会换好一点的老师来教。要知道，一个好的老师教给你的可不仅仅是课内知识。

如果有两个选择，好教授的无聊课题，烂教授的有趣课题，一定要选好教授，上了发现原来这个可以这么有意思啊。血的教训啊，曾选过烂教授的有趣课题，后悔过，drop过，那时已经没什么选择了。

6.其他

注意每日课程的安排，最好能留出吃饭的时间，计划好各个教室之间的距离，免得赶不及（尤其是对于校园大的学校）。

注意Final考试的时间。Final的时间是开学前就被学校安排好的，请避免一天连着考好几门或者是连着好几天考试的情况。在FB Group上有人发了他一天考四门，连续12小时的Final Schedule，请勿轻易尝试。
